Here at IITM, we have a Humanities and Social sciences department, which offers 5 year MA Degrees. The students of this department are subject to great ridicule from the B.Techs for reasons unknown to anyone.
However, there is one such story, which piques any B.tech out there to make fun of the MA people. This happened around 2009-2010.
A student from the HS department had to copy files from one computer to another. Being a girl, and MA at that, a few people offered to help her out. She declined all offers of help and proceeded to copy files from one computer to another, and, to the surprise of everyone around, she fails. She then curses the computers and proceeds to demonstrate to the crowd what she did. She "copies" the file on one computer (cntrl + C) and goes to the next one and directly presses paste (cntrl + V).
This is easily one of the most hilarious and crazy stories from IITM.
Another crazy story about the same student is how she tried to sell Tickets for the Shankar Ehsaan Loy show to Shankar Ehsaan and Loy.
These stories are the foundation for HS ridicule.
